Amanda is a queer yoga teacher, social worker, advocate and community builder. She is a 500HR YTT graduate, specializing in trauma informed care, accessible movement, and practices that integrate traditional wisdom with evidence based modalities to build capacity, skill and resilience. As a social worker, she has extensive experience working with marginalized communities and persons with disabilities, as well as burn survivors, amputees, sexual assault survivors and first responders with PTSD. Amanda has specialized training in trauma informed yin, iRest yoga nidra, and yoga for persons with Traumatic Brain Injury. Amanda's greatest joy is being in community, helping people feel safe in their bodies, develop supportive movement practices, and improve the quality of their life, on and off the mat.
