Asha
Yoga Instructor
My path with yoga began long before I did any movements or postures on a mat. I went to my first studio class when I was in my teens, but found a committed asana and pranayama practice in a hot yoga studio during university as a way to escape the stress of school work. Since then my practice and experience has flexed and flowed throughout my life, including earning my 200hr YTT when I got married, my Kids & Teens Yoga certification when I was a preschool teacher, and my Fertility to Postpartum training after the birth of my children. I feel yoga is something we grow through, as we celebrate milestones and overcome challenges. While I call myself a "Family Yoga Facilitator" since most of my classes are geared to the family circle, I love to bring yoga to all people in all bodies, across all ages. My classes are always full of options and ways to adapt poses so all people can lead their bodies into a practice that brings joy.
